Ryan Mastella – Victaulic

“Grooved Systems 101”

 The presentation will provide an overview of grooved piping systems and their role in modern piping systems. Ryan will review grooved history, new product innovations, gasket technology evolution, mechanical room value, and domestic water applications, as well as comparing advantages to traditional build methods. This presentation will be tailored specifically for the Reno area by discussing legacy preferences, historical preferences, labor market pressures, etc. 

Ryan Mastella is a Territory Sales Manager with Victaulic, supporting contractors, engineers, and distributors across his region. Ryan has been with Victaulic since 2020, starting in the Central Valley/Central Coast market in California. Ryan has been based in the Reno market since 2024, working closely with mechanical and plumbing professionals to deliver efficient, code-compliant piping solutions for commercial and industrial projects.
