April Chapter Meeting
“Water Treatment”
Topic Description
OneWater Nevada is a shared vision created by leaders from the City of Reno, City of Sparks, Washoe County, Truckee Meadows Water Authority, Truckee Meadows Water Reclamation Facility, Northern Nevada Water Planning Commission, Western Regional Water Commission, and the University of Nevada, Reno. This collaborative partnership between water and wastewater utilities, academic, and professional practitioners was established to help address northern Nevada's long-term water-reliability needs. As a high-desert community, these needs fostered deep appreciation for the value of water and has shaped sustainable water management practices.
